The Baltimore Sun is seeking an experienced Electrician Technician to support our services department.
May be required to work the 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift depending on operational demands.
The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in testing, troubleshooting and repairing production related equipment. The candidate must be familiar with or have worked on and around equipment up to 13kv as well as mechanical systems and how they relate to the production and facilities equipment. Also the individual must be willing to work days, nights, and weekends without direct supervision.
The successful candidate must possess outstanding troubleshooting, knowledge of solid state devices and computer skills. Proven experience working on AC and DC motors and controls as well as PLC’s and mechanical systems. The ability to read blueprints, schematics and ladder logic drawings is a must. Your experience testing, troubleshooting and repairing a variety of production equipment will enable you to join a great company and take the next step in your career.
